There is no pool or playground for kids! Fishing along the beautiful river as well as swimming, canoing & kayaking with the parents supervision. With this said it seems to be mostly adults here. The bath house & laundry are extremely clean & well kept. The river sites are water & electric or no hook ups for tents. The upper sites are full hook ups & just a 1 min. walk to the river where you can sit on the bench or sit on the house porch. Small diner W-S for burgers etc. The only downfall: I don't know if it is well or city water but there is some muddy water in the lines so use a filter. It is closer to Erwin than Jonesborough. We will go back. I would have rated higher except for the muddy water at times.

This was a nice surprise! They were running a summer special at $14.95 per night for full hook-up site and around $25 if you wanted a site with your own hot tub on it. Free Sunday omelet breakfast with bacon, sausage, milk, coffee & juice. Nice restaurant on site, gift shop, two pools, two hot tubs, and most sites had a citrus tree on it. Showers a little small, not too small though and clean. You are not pressured or even asked to look at any units or listen to any sales pitches. There is also a Camping World at the entrance to the park and sales lot. Will stay there again.

This is a wonderful place. Free breakfast, contiental style each morning, wonderful staff, Friday night free Margarita night. The best bath house I have seen, so clean and roomy. Will stay there again. The manager said they had received several request for a pool and they are thinking about that.

This campground would be ok for small units and tents. We have a 37' 5th wheel and a long bed tow truck and since this was an overnight stop only we asked for a pull through at $5 extra. Since no one escorted you to your site I had to get out twice to ensure we were going to clear the trees on the narrow roads and the sharp turns. The rig next to us was parked several feet too far forward so we and several others had to back out of the pull through. Will not stay there again. Bath house is older but clean. No movies when we were there.
